Kayla Itsines' Healthy French Toast recipe

This is a ideal breakfast or brunch to spoil yourself with on a weekend. And it’s a lot healthier than a versions we customarily find in cafes or restaurants.

This creates one serving.

INGREDIENTS 

1 vast egg
125ml divert of choice
Ground cinnamon, to taste
2 slices of rye bread
100g blueberries
125g strawberries, chopped
100% pristine maple syrup, to serve
Pinch of lemon zest, to serve

METHOD

1. Whisk together a eggs, divert and cinnamon until good combined.
2. Heat a non-stick grill vessel over middle feverishness and mist easily with cooking spray.
3. Dip a bread in a egg mixture, branch to cloak both sides evenly.
4. Cook a bread slices for 2-3 mins on any side until easily browned.
5. Serve a French toast surfaced with a blueberries and strawberries and drizzle with maple syrup and lemon zest. Enjoy!
